Summer Fun
Summer so far has been a blast. Penelope, Laura and I spent Memorial Day weekend – our last weekend together – in the North Shore, at Shark’s Cove. We bought our snorkel gear a few days before and couldn’t wait to try it out… hence the new “Snorkel Silliness” photo album in my pics section. We then walked over to Sunset Beach… walking in the sand really is a workout. Fortunately, I enjoyed soaking up the sun. Also amused the other two when I crawled out of the water like a wet cat. Once we got back into town, Laura and I went to the annual Memorial Day lantern lighting ceremony at Ala Moana Beach Park, only to find that the ceremony was ending when we got there. We managed to get some pics of the lanterns in the water, though.
Like I said, it’s been a blast so far, especially since I got to chill with my roomies and hang out at the beach, something I should do more of.
We brought waterproof disposable cameras with us; I’ll try to get those pics up by the end of this weekend. In the meantime, here are some digital shots:
